This was in the early days of the company. I started out by drawing two dozen of sketches and the one they liked the most was a city skyline.
After that I started out by taking photos of of the most easy to recognize buildings in Skellefteå, from Lejonströmsbron in the south to Älvsbackabron in north.
After that I made a composite image with the photos placed next to each other and masked out the environment. The result was a condensed skyline of Skellefteå where all the locals who was asked could name all buildings and they seemed to appreciate it showing off some of the interesting history of the city.
The logo was changed a few years later to the one they use today.
